YOUR STORY, TRANSFORMED INTO ART.
A one-of-a-kind artwork created around your story, someone you love, something that happened to you and connected to the larger stories of humanity.
My work is a search for meaning in this world.
Pieces that exist between art and artifact, between ancient and contemporary, intellect and intuition.
A commission is YOUR PLACE IN THE STORY OF HUMANITIES SEARCH FOR MEANING.
The result is an artwork that could only have been made for you.
WHAT MAKES A COMMISSION DIFFERENT?

This is where the personal becomes universal.
Humanity evolves in spirals and so do we. We don´t always get to choose the cards we are handed, but we do get to choose how we play the game.
My passion is looking for the meaning of life through the spirals of history and human thought. I like to connect stories, myths, and symbols and create a physical object that connects them all together and finds the thread that connects them all. I believe that´s where we can start to understand who we are.
Through these objects, I connect the story of humanity to your story. I look for connections between what you want to tell and the larger stories humans have been telling for thousands of years. This may take me into mythology, archaeology, history, psychology, contemporary culture or symbolism. The material, the form and the object are part of the narration, as each material has history and meaning.
The pieces become objects with a life beyond their original story. They become a part of your life, a starting point of discussion and eventually a treasured heirloom.
YOU BECOME A PART OF THIS WORLD. AND I HONOR AND CHERISH THAT.
CHOOSE THE WORLD.
Your piece can be part of one of my existing bodies of work, or become something entirely new.
These are some of the worlds I have created and the ones open now for commissions.
You can take a deep dive into each of them, by clicking the title, and read the idea, story and symbols behind it.
Paintings
Your story as a surreal visual experience.
A story about love, meaning, feminine and masculine energies and overcoming life´s challenges.
Not sure which world represents your story best?
That's what the first conversation is for.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
01 - Conversation
We begin with a conversation about what matters to you.
02 - Investigation
Your story becomes the inspiration for research into mythology, archaeology, history, psychology and symbolism.
This is where the personal becomes universal.
It can be subtle or elaborate, depending on what we decide together.
03 - Creation
The research turns into an artwork.
This process is tailored to each collector. Some like to be an active part of the process and some prefer to just see the finished piece.
04 - Reveal
The finished work is the beginning of its life with you.
I work with each collector to determine how the work is presented and, when appropriate, how it is revealed.
An artwork created around your story should have a moment and a presentation of its own.
IS THIS FOR YOU?
This commission may be right for you if:
-
You have a story, idea or experience you want transformed into physical form, but don´t want an ordinary painting.
-
You collect art or want to start collecting but are looking for something less conventional.
-
You want something unique in your home that represents your story inside the greater story of humanity.
Or maybe you found my work, and it resonated with you. In that case, I would love to get to know you. I´m sure we have a lot in common.
**An important note here is that I only create pieces that tell a story through unique objects or visual form. An essential part of the work is the worlds they belong to, the myths, symbols and the connection of your story to the story of humanity. It´s I journey full of symbols, history and meaning.
If you are looking for a more conventional portrait, there are many talented artist that can do that for you. I don´t take those kinds of commissions.
